Collection of data when visiting this site (log files)
Every access to our homepage and every retrieval of a file stored on the website is logged in a so-called log file. The storage serves among other things EDP system-related purposes to ensure a smooth and secure operation of the server. Recorded are: IP address of the requesting computer, name of the requested file, date and time of the request, amount of data transferred, message about successful request, web browser and requesting domain as well as information about the requesting operating system.
Data that serve to uniquely identify a person are not collected or stored unless you provide them to us personally and with your consent, e.g. by e-mail. In this case, Art 6 para 1 lit. a is the legal basis.
The legal basis for the automated collection of data is our legitimate interest or that of third parties according to Art 6 para 1 lit. f of the DS-GVO, unless the protection of personal data based on fundamental rights and freedoms prevails.
Storage period and erasure
Personal data is only stored as long as the purpose or a legal obligation exists. In the case of automatically collected data, this occurs in part when the session ends (closing or leaving the website), and in the case of others, e.g. log files, after 1 month. In general, we will delete data immediately after the end of the legal retention periods.
Data subject rights

Right to information (Art. 15 DS-GVO)
You have the right to obtain information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient, as well as the purpose of data processing.
Correction / deletion / blocking (Art. 16 / 17 / 18 DS-GVO).
In addition, you have the the right to correct the data in the case of incorrectly stored information, deletion of the data or restriction of processing (blocking) if, for example, deletion is not possible for legal reasons at the time (e.g. resulting from the obligations of the GOBD).
Right to data portability (Art. 20 DS-GVO)
You have the right to have data that has been processed automatically on the basis of your consent or for the performance of a contract transferred to you or to third parties. The data will be provided in a machine-readable format. If you wish the data to be transferred directly to a third party, this can only be done if this is technically possible.
Right to object (Art. 21 DS-GVO).
You may object in various situations to the processing of personal data relating to you arising from Article 6(1)(e) or (f). This also applies to profiling/tracking. In that case (unless compelling reasons worthy of protection prevail), the controller will no longer process this data. In addition, you can revoke any consent granted in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) at any time and without giving reasons for the future.
Right to complain to a supervisory authority (Art. 77 DS-GVO)
If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the DS-GVO, you have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for your federal state. To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS. You can see this, depending on your browser, by a green symbol or lock in front of the URL in the address line.
If you contact us by e-mail or contact form, the information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing the request, as well as for possible follow-up questions. You can object to the processing or storage of this data at any time and without giving reasons with effect for the future. For this purpose, an informal e-mail to email@example.com is sufficient.
The legal basis for this is your declaration of consent, which you give by sending an email, or sending the contact form according to Art 6 para 1 lit. a.
